New Entrance and Directional Signage for Shongweni Heights, Hillcrest

Josh Spooner

Shongweni Heights, a residential complex in Hillcrest, asked us to replace its entrance sign and add directional signs inside the complex to help visitors find their way to each unit.

The entrance sign

The old sign at the gate had done its time. We designed a new one to suit the brick gate pillar: a clean black panel with the complex name, street number and street in white, big enough to read from the road.

Finding your unit

Inside the complex, we added directional signs in the same black-and-white style, so visitors and deliveries can find their way to the right units without guesswork.

Built for outdoors

All the signs are steel, electroplated and then powder-coated, so they resist rust and corrosion and keep looking sharp outdoors. We explain why we use that combination for outdoor pieces in our post on powder coating, high-heat paint and anodising.

We've done signage for venues and churches too, including wayfinding at The Station Urban Event Space. If your complex, estate or business needs new signage, get a quote.
